Becoming Catholic ??

Our Mission

How Does Initiation Work?

Why Do We Exist?

To share Christ's love with the world to save souls, make disciples, and become saints.

How Do We Behave?

As a humble servant, with authentic charity, and as a courageous disciple.

What Do We Do?

We lead people into relationship with Christ through prayer, worship, celebrating sacraments, and lifelong faith formation.

How Does Initiation Work?

How Does Initiation Work?

We'd love to hear your story!

Giving our life to Christ and the journey into His Church and looks different for each one of us.

Initiation is a journey of conversion that is gradual and suited to individual needs.

It is a process rather than an educational program and this process takes place within the community of the faithful, the local Church.

How do I begin this process?

The way to begin this process of becoming Catholic is to get connected to a parish community.

Catholic friends and neighbors can tell you about their own parishes and you might ask to go to a Mass with them.

Call our office and tell them  you are thinking about becoming Catholic. They will connect you with someone who would love to meet with you. 320-468-6033

Question:

Can non-Catholics participate in the gestures at Mass, such as kneeling, making the sign of the cross, etc.?

Answer:

As a congregant, a non-Catholic is allowed to do as much as do Catholics in the pews with the exception of receiving Communion. You can make the sign of the cross, kneel, stand, etc.  Non-Catholics who are guests  can also participate to the extent they feel comfortable doing so, with the exception of receiving Communion. If they are merely there as observers and do not wish to participate, they need only stand when the congregation does and otherwise sit quietly.

We'd Love to Hear From Yoou

If you're truly open-minded, you can find some truth in most religions. You can find plenty of goodness and beauty as well. But where is the whole truth of God—the "fullness of truth"?

Fr. Mike makes the case for Catholic Christianity, and why you should settle for nothing less.
